Dr. Update

I went to the doctor today for a check up and everything is good! Abbott's heartbeat is strong and my belly is measuring well. We scheduled an ultrasound for the beginning of March to estimate how big he is and how big he might be at birth. I can't wait to see him again on that little screen! And then the next time we see him, it will be for real!

Painting on the nursery is coming along nicely. The walls are done, so now we just have trim and details to work on. We will post pictures when it is all done!

It's official. We have begun working on the nursery. We painted the ceiling last night and will be priming the walls shortly. I will post pictures as I take them. I can't wait to see it finished!

I'll never live up to it

So......here goes. I am a busy girl. I don't plan on "blogging" every day of even every week. I HOPE to do so, but I make no guarantees.

My sister is going to be much better at this than I.

At least I can admit it.

The first baby shower

On Friday, the girls at work threw me my first baby shower for Abbott. There were so many people there! We got a TON of stuff and it made me very excited to get this nursery going! I can't believe we only have 2 months left. Things are about to get crazy!

This is our official first blog entry. I am hoping to update this as often as possible with pictures and information as our family grows.
